Me and “Cochran” from the show Survivor!

Horrible picture of me, but I love Cochran, so I wanted to post this! I ran into him at California Adventure, part of the Disneyland resort. Jonathan Cochran was a contestant on the show Survivor. In January, 2013, Cochran graduated from Harvard Law School. A week after his win (1 million dollars), Cochran announced he has moved to Los Angeles to be a co-writer for a new sitcom, The Millers. It aired September 2013. The executive producer of Survivor took this picture of the two of us 🙂

Oh Maui!

I drove an hour to Pat’s house (my daughters boyfriend), to pay the cats a visit. This was the first time I held Maui. He’s slightly timid, but coming out of his shell. He’s wearing a faux diamond collar, LoL! He laid on the floor, wriggling back and forth like a worm, hahahaha. He totally made my day 🙂

I will be blogging a few things from my recent trip down south to Disneyland. These candied apples are works of art! You can watch them being made, truly amazing. And the taste? Crisp green apple with a variety of chocolates. The mouse ears are made out of marshmallow. I bought a Minnie Mouse and the “Apple Pie” apples. I think for under $10.00, these are well worth the price.

Things To Say To Help Someone Through An Anxiety Attack

I suffer with anxiety attacks. Thankfully the number of attacks as lessened greatly over the past few years, I have learned different techniques to get through them. If you’ve never had one, it’s too difficult to explain. But that doesn’t mean you can’t help someone having one. Panic attacks don’t make any sense, so don’t get mad at the person having it. All you can do is be there; either in person or on the phone.

Anxiety. Every person in the world has it and has to deal with it on a daily basis. Whether it is big or small, everyone has something that they worry about or are fearful of. There are different kinds of anxiety…there is good anxiety (such as an athlete getting ready to play in a game) or bad, chronic anxiety (worrying about things that a person had no control over or can’t do anything about). Bad anxiety or stress can become very detrimental and harmful to a person if it raises to unhealthy levels.

I recently read an article written by Jacklyn Krol on “Thought Catalog” that I thought would be good to share with you. Since I have dealt with anxiety attacks and raised anxiety levels in the past, articles like this have really helped me deal with my stress levels in more…

Make Up-Get The Look You Want Without Breaking The Bank

wpid-20140425_165127.jpg

Don’t let your friends or family guilt you into only buying your make up at department stores or Sephora. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying they don’t have good products, but do you really want to spend that much money? All the make up I am using in this photo was purchased at Target stores. Using products from Maybelline, Rimmel, Neutrogena, and Loreal, I achieved a sexy look with nice contrast and complete coverage. Don’t ever feel bad for not spending big bucks on your make-up!

Oh Hazel!

Hazel is on the right and Maui is on the left. The cats were watching grandma and grandpa get the bikes out of the garage to go for a ride. It’s amazing that these cats, who were recently strangers to each other, are co-existing so well! You can see that the desk drawer is open, ready for Hazel to take a cat nap, LoL!

Don’t Even Think About It!!

This is my 6 year old niece, on her way to Las Vegas with my sister. My sister went to get a Starbucks and told my niece to watch the luggage (with me there of course). Kat took those words very serious! You could not get those two suitcases off her legs if your life depended on it, hahaha! Notice her baby-booster seat in the seat next to her! Funny 🙂
