I LOVE this piece that I did last year. 6 x 6 on wood. Using acrylic paint, with a high gloss finish. Signed on the back with a hook to hang it up. I have titled this one “New Life”. I spent about 10 hours on this piece. It’s definitely a one of a kind 🙂

I’ve never had pink nails before. It’s actually very nice. To my surprise it goes along well with most of my wardrobe; browns, black, mint green, purple and even red. 🙂
I am addicted to restoring old pieces of furniture that I find. Each piece of furniture that I refurbish has a story to tell. This chair was full of horse hair and springs, dating back to somewhere around the 1930’s.
I found this beat up rocking chair sitting in the street, for free. For less than $40.00, I gave this old girl a lift, a tuck and a snip! I chose not to fix every nook and cranny because I want some of the wear and tear to show, some of it’s history. I had some left over fabric, so I made a quick pillow.

I painted this “Dementor” on 9.5″x7.75″ piece of birch wood. Inspired by the Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Using acrylic paint, once dry the piece was covered in gloss, for a glass look (difficult to see in the photo). The Dementor is set in front of the full moon, just after Prof. Lupin transforms into a werewolf.
This mural is on a wall at the high school my son just graduated from. I found it very captivating.

This is press-board, 6″x6″, acrylic, with a high gloss finish. This has a black background with several soft colors making the pinwheel design. Inspired by a Pinwheel Nebula. I love outer-space and science. The backside is affixed with a saw tooth hanger for easy hanging.
Most of my acrylic painting designs are based on how I’m feeling that day, simple as that 🙂
