It Will Take A Special Man
Sure, this is a funny picture. That is my son Johnny, pinching my sisters boyfriend’s nose, haha! Johnny is special needs and often does silly things like this. He loves everyone, hence him sitting on Bryan’s lap. This convinces me that I will find a partner who can embrace my son the same way Bryan does. I won’t settle for a man that simply “tolerates” Johnny. I want a partner that accepts, interacts and embraces Johnny. I have to believe that there is someone out there for us 🙂

Ostentatious, Or Just Right?
My son likes to go for a car ride after I get home from work. Every night this past week there seems to be more and more Christmas lights displayed on houses. My first thought was “Wow, what a joke this house is”. But then I looked at my son’s face, he loves it! For that reason, I love it too. 🙂

A Gift From The Kindergartener’s
We had 70 kids go pumpkin picking today on a field trip. Three adorable little boys with huge smiles came into the office with this chubby little pumpkin for me 🙂 I love my job!!
Wish You Were Here
My youngest, Jonathan can’t travel long distances due to his medical condition, so he will stay home with grandma, grandpa, and auntie Mel. Leaving Johnny behind is a horrible feeling. As a mom, I want all my kids with me all the time. I miss him terribly already!! But if I don’t go, I will regret not going, and I will regret not giving Sara and Ben opportunities to grow socially and culturally. I haven’t spent a lot of time with Ben since he moved in with his dad 6 years ago, which has broken my heart.
So, I’m off to London today with Sara and Ben!! We have a layover in the north west (no, not Kim Kardashian’s baby! hahahaha), then straight away to Heathrow! Praying for safe travel and smooth flying! I will see you soon London! I will see you in 17 days my sweet Johnny xoxo
San Jose State University
Go Spartans! My daughter had to take a test over the week-end, prior to the semester starting, so my son and I went with her, and walked around campus. The SJSU campus has both a High-Tech and an old world feel. Mixed with new, shiny buildings, you will find some of the original buildings. SJSU was founded in 1857, San Jose State is the oldest institute of higher education, not just in California, but on the entire West Coast! Can you tell that I’m a proud mommy? 🙂

Book Stop-Shop and Swap!
I saw this and pulled over to take pictures. This is in Santa Cruz, CA.
This is a relatively new thing I’ve seen in the Bay Area.
Free books! You put one in and take one out, or vice versa. This amazing book case had adult books on the top………..
And kid stuff on the bottom! This is the fanciest one I’ve seen. Typically they resemble more of an open bird house on a pole. Now that I know this one exists, I’m going to take some books over and maybe find one to read 🙂 I’m sure these have been in other parts of the world long before we’ve had them here! Super cool though.
